Dave’s Marine Construction has been building docks on Lake Wylie, Lake Norman, Mountain Island and Fishing Creek for the past 31 years. Our docks have passed the test of time and given our customer's lots of satisfaction. Dave’s Marine Construction Co. started business in 1981 and started Shoreline Erosion Control in the mid 80's using the land side of the lake. Due to the accessibility and damage to the home owner’s property with large trucks and equipment it was decided to use boats and barges to transport the equipment and products to the shorelines. We use a retired Navy landing craft and military barges to reach your shoreline. No damage is done to your existing property. Primarily, we use Rip-Rap stone to stop the waves and elements from eroding your lakefront shoreline. We are also capable of transporting materials for other contractors who may be building on your shoreline. We also do pond and lake dredging. Dredging or sediment excavation can be a very effective pond and lake restoration strategy.
